Moze Island

Moze Island ( မဇဲကၽြန္း)
Close to northern coast of the Akyab Island (  In Arakan or Rakhing which was occupied by Burma since 1784 ) separated only by the width of the Moze River, which is about 3miles in extent, stands the Moze Island. It is in the form of an irregular quadrilateral, having an area of 51 square miles. Running down the length of the island in the direction from north to south, nearer the eastern border than the western, is a low range of hills known as Uggataung. But in addition to this there are also small low- lying ridges scattered about in various parts of the island, some rising gently from the surrounding plain, while others are more precipitous resembling lofty walls put up in defense of a city.
Tradition has it that Buddha in one of his many previous incarnations roamed about the forests of Arakan as Elephant King. One day a terrific rain storm swept over the country and poor animal was compelled to run about in search of a suitable shelter. When he came to this island, the rain stopped (မိုးစည္း၊စဲသည္). From this fact alone the place was subsequently called Moze island (မိုးစည္းကၽြန္း) , later young generations call it (မဇဲကၽြန္း).

The Long Cool Road and Looseness

-

The girl sitting in front of me looked pretty well
In the compartment of train
She is Asian
I am too from Asia
-          When I look into her black eyes,
I know she hints saying something
How she starts her new life here
But I am speechless
It is snowing outside
I turn to the door
And then
In front of me is long cool road and behind me looseness.

It Is Promised Land Given The Name By Lord Buddha As Dynawaddy

I am peace loving person and working for the justice and fairness. Long history recorded as Buddhist Promised land, as Arakkhadesha in the immemorial time and Arakan in the world record history about Arakan. Still today, you may see many Buddhist religious buildings, old and new spreading all over Arakan, especially in Mrouk Oo and Kyouk Taw, recorded as Mrouk Oo Dynasty and Dynyawaddy Dynasty. Many heritages Buddha statutes, some are recorded since Buddha life time (Mahamunit Statutes and Mahgyan Statues) enshrine in many monasteries and temples.
I give these facts to see reality about our fatherland Arakan in the past and present. I was amazed arriving Mrouk Oo when I was 17 years old. It was the first visit to golden Mrauk Oo in 1986 together with some pilgrimages from Pauk Taw. I saw so many pagodas, temples and monasteries as symbols of Buddhism not Islamist symbols all over the Mrouk Oo. There was upgrade and downgrade in the Arakan History. I accept that Our King Murn Saw Mon seek asylum to Guar after Burmese King invaded Arakan in1406 and waging war for 24 years until 1430. By the help of Guar king we were able to salvaged our fatherland Arakan and some of our Kings accepted Islamist tittles to respect and thanks to Guar King (not because our King were Islamists as so-called Rohingya’s claim) since Murn Saw Mon reign.
After the establishment of Golden Mrouk Oo of Arakan, the last Dynasty, many Pagodas and temples were built and Buddha Statutes were casted as the symbol of Buddhism. As far as I hear only Syndikhan Mosque was permitted to build for Islam as saviors of Arakan Kingdom. During the reign of Murn Burn, he fought many wars to Guar Emperor to get back the land of Arakan and show his power, mighty and dignity as a Buddhist King. He built Chit Thoung temple as symbol of victory to Islamist King.
Arakan history recorded there were so many mercenary troops under the Arakanese Buddhist King, including Arabs, Portugal, Japanese and also Burmese. For the Portugal and Japanese none of them are found in present Arakan State. But Arabs were recorded as Kaman who are still living in ThanDway and Ramree Island. Beside as laborers in the British period, some Islam may migrated and living since Mrouk Oo Dynasty as there some Muslim who are able to speak Arakanse and loyal to the Sovereign, most of them are still living in Kyouk Taw and Mrouk Oo Township and very few in other Townships.
I am very surprised to hear the name Rohingya telling the world that some Arakanese kings were Islamists, and claiming Rohingya have been living since immemorial time in Arakan especially in Moung Daw, and Buthedaung Township which are bordering with Bengladesh. If like so, where were you living while Arakanese Buddhists escaped to British Bengal by land and boats ( The record of the British expressed only Arakanese Buddhists seek asylum to British colonial Area). Would you reply you were able to live Buthe Daung and Moung Daw because you sided to Burmese kings and serviced for them during invasion Arakan. In the British record in British-Burmese first war, no Islamist commander were listed there. Even there were no Islamist commander during Chun Byan ( King Bering) revolutionary period in Arakan. It is real that no Islam community were living there when Burmese King invaded Arakan, no Islam community were living there when the British Burmese the first war occur and also no Islam community were living there during Chun Byan revolutionary period. You just came to our land after the British administrated Arakan as laborers as the history recorded. Arakanse also resettled in that area only after British ruled Arakan since 1824 after waging Englo-Burmese the first war.
Many authors were assimilated with fake history of so-called Rohingya saying or giving the wrong facts that Rohingya are ethnic citizens as some of the Rohingya Kings ruled Mrouk Oo Dynasty. If what you say are real, please answer me where are ancient Islamist symbols in the ground (which were the same age of these dynasties) in Mrouk Oo and Kyouk Taw. No historians including Potugal, nor British recorded the name Rohingya nor some of the Rohingya kings ruled Arakan.
After the riot scattered since June 8 between Bengali community (most of them are illegal and created the name Rohingya to separate Arakan main land for their own administration) and Arakanese Buddhist community, most of the authors and media are shouting Arakanese Buddhist and The Burmese Army are killing Rohingya, who are losing their rights in their native land. But they never present the loose of Arakanese to illegal Bengali including land and properties since they occupied by their over crowded population. I would like to give the fact that Army or Police forces are not able to station inside the Bengali Community because even armed forces will be attacked by the Bengali and they station between two communities and also inside Arakanese Community to attain law and order. This image may be defined by the authors or media as Army Forces are sided Arakanese Buddhist. In contrary the native Arakanese will have to worry for their security in their native land to Bengali the same as in Assam State of India.
I would like to argue such authors and media who are only talking about for the human rights, not including security of state sovereign and the old history of Arakan, with the following facts. In every country has its owned law to be a citizenship. For those who are according to the law, have the rights to be citizen of related country. Even after for those who become citizenship to the related country, the person, who abuse the rules of the citizenship would also be purged from the rights of citizens. Bengali who are living in Mung Daw and Buthedaung are neither native nor ethnic. But few may be citizenship if they can show the facts according to citizenship law. And they endanger the security of Burma sovereign and the daily lives of Arakanese Buddhists.
We, Arakanese are not shouting to drive out all Muslim in Arakan. But we are demanding for taking action to those migrates, who are shouting as Rohingya and perpetrators. We are demanding to take action those who are illegal as they endanger the security of native Buddhist Arakanese after confiscated the land and their populations are eroding native community by waging terrorist actions day after day. Most of the illegal Bengali got Identification Card after given money to corrupted immigration authorities in the past. Even U Nu Government gave citizenship rights to the illegal migrants to win in the election, which put many of Arakan lands to the hand of Illegal Bengali. The ploy of so called Rohingya is that they are shouting that they have been living for centuries, after the new migrants infiltrated in the old Muslim community. This image persuades the authors and media’s hearts that so-called Rohingya have been living centuries in Arakan and they are being violated by the Burmese Authorities.
Any eyes watchers can see the riots occurred in the area only Bengali community are majority or at least half of the populations are Bengali. Even in some case like putting poison in the lake of Arakanese Buddhist Community by the Bengali where Buddhists are majority, Arakanese Buddhists are so tolerant without any revenge. If the riots occurred where Bengali Muslims are minority, I am sure their will be no places for the Bengali community by the Arakanese Buddhist attacks. But in the contrary, riot occurring places are where Bengali Muslims are majority and the most of the attacks were began by the so-called Rohingya and Arakanse are just self defenders. Even in Sittwe, the capital city of Arakan, Bengali Muslims still today are trying to attack Arakanese Buddhist neighbor hood. Even on Buddhist Sabbath Warso full moon day, they were trying to attack Buddhist temples where Buddha Dhama was preaching to the Buddhist Arakanse. Therefore, I would like to request the world community that not to follow the fake history of so-called Rohingya any more and that also to sympathize to Buddhist Arakanse from the view points of human rights because Arakanse community being violated by the Bengali Community in their owned land and that for finding the right facts for the right resolution to solved long lasted problems between the two communities. And I would like to warn the Bengali to stop their terrorist actions to Arakanse Buddhists in inside Arakan and abroad because resentment of Arakanese would be out of control if you do more.

Bangladeshis behind Aug 11 Mumbai violence

Bangladeshis behind Aug 11 Mumbai violence: Thackeray

Raj ThackerayStar Online Report
India's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray on Tuesday alleged that illegal immigrants from Bangladesh were behind the August 11 violence in which two people were killed during protests against alleged atrocities on Muslims in Assam and Myanmar, reports the Times of India.

The Indian newspaper reports that despite police permission only for a rally, in answer to August 11 violence, Thackeray led more than 50,000 people on a march along Marine Drive to Azad Maidan, bringing all of south Mumbai to a halt.

Waving what appeared to be a Bangladeshi passport, Thackeray said that illegal migration from the eastern neighbour (of India) would destroy Mumbai. Mahasrashtra Navnirman Sena chief on Tuesday addressed a massive pro-Hindu rally in answer to the August 11 gathering of Muslims to protest attacks in Assam.

Slamming the violence during the Muslim rally, which like the one on Tuesday paralysed south Mumbai, he said, "There is a boundary which no one should cross. There should be no physical assaults on policemen and officials. My party will always stand by the cops whenever such cases happen," Thackeray said.

Thackeray said the influx of illegal Bangladeshi migrants posed a threat to Mumbai. "They have safe havens in UP and Bihar. From there, the illegal migrants come to Mumbai to foment trouble," he said and accused Bangladeshi migrants of playing a major role in the August 11 violence.

Colonial Era Exploitation Should Be Avoided: Dr. Aye Maung

Sittwe: Dr. Aye Maung, Chairman of the Rakhine Nationalities Development Party, says the Burmese government should avoid colonial-style exploitation of natural resources, referring to its lack of a plan to utilize any portion of the gas from the Shwe Gas Project in Kyaukpru in Arakan State for regional development.

He made the statement when he was asked about his party’s public conference that is scheduled to be held on 1 January, 2012, at the clock-tower grounds in Kyaukpru to demand local rights in the project.
“Our dreams for unity and amity in our nation will be far away if the natural resources from one region are swept away and just used for the benefit and development of another region in the similar manner of exploitation as in the colonial era. So, the government should share some portion of profits that will be obtained from the gas project in Arakan State for the benefit and development of local Arakanese people, who have rights to the natural resources in their homeland, and while it is building a genuine union, it should ensure equal benefit and development in all ethnic regions in the union,” said Dr. Aye Maung.
He added that the natural resources are most abundant in ethnic regions and the hope for ethnic unity will be shattered if the government continues to sweep away the resources from those regions to use in only Rangoon, Mandalay, Naypyidaw, and other parts of central Burma where industrial zones are being established.
Dr. Aye Maung said the main aim of holding the public conference is to mobilize the local Arakanese people as well as their brethren of other ethnic nationalities for their wider participation in making demands on the gas project for the development of Arakan State.
“We will make demands just for what we should get from our union and we hope all Arakanese people and our ethnic brothers with their kind hearts will support our move to strive for our regional development and hope the responsible authorities in all levels will do their best to meet our demands,” he said.
He also said his party would be able to make known to the central government what local people are expecting from the Shwe Gas Project after holding public conferences in the region, although lawmakers from his party had not received any positive answers from the union ministers when they raised questions about the project last September, with the aim of softening the stance of the central government over the region’s natural resources.
“No matter how the regional natural resources are being centralized in the 2008 constitution, we hope the government will consider the fact that every region or division needs to use its own resources for its development,” he said.
The regional election commission granted permission on 27 December for the RNDP to hold the public conference, which is scheduled from 5 pm to 11 pm on 1 January at the clock-tower grounds in Kyaukpru. It was learned that only 500 people are allowed to take part in the conference, and six senior leaders of the party, including Dr. Aye Maung and U Ba Shin, the legislator from People’s Parliament in Kyaukpru, will speak at the conference.
