Myanmar Army commits war crime again by killing and abducting villagers


Myanmar Army again committed war crime in Arakan, western part of Myanmar,
by killing two villagers and wounding seriously seven villagers on 29.3.2019.

In morning, around 6:30 am, on 29.3.2019, Myanmar Army started shooting machine
guns and launchers from Tein Nyo bridge into Aut Tha Kan village, shouting the whole
time abusive word “ F---king Arakan”  while firing and entering into village.

The deceased were two women and one of those was pregnant woman who was in
her grocery , selling food and other things to her own villagers in Aut Tha Kan village.
Local media wrote that injured persons were admitted to hospital in Mrauk-U Town and some media persons told that villagers were forced to sit on the ground under the sun’s ray by putting hands on head. 

At the same time, village elder men were kicked on head and chest with military boots by Myanmar Army men. Youths were also pounded with butt of gun and were inserted with muzzle of gun on chest.  When Myanmar Army left village on the same day, they abducted five villagers away with them. The family members of abductees were in lament. No Myanmar Officer holds accountable.
