In fact, This rice problem day was caused by The Invader Myanmar's oppression on the Arakan.
To cover up their brutality and to stop Arakan from resisting, Myanmar or Burma arrested and tortured the Arakanese people.
To cover up their brutality and to stop Arakan from resisting, Myanmar or Burma arrested and tortured the Arakanese people.
Invader Burma or Myanmar, which is selling gas and oil from Arakan to China through thousands miles of pipelines, does not wish to pipe fresh water from the source of the rivers, which is about fifty miles away, and does not want to put it into the lake of city of Sittwe in Arakan intentionally.
But invader Burma in Arakan plans to cause problem by pumping water from the underground in sittwe,Arakan.
As we know, in every big city, government does not distribute underground water. One reason is that underground water is not aboundant like freshwater streams and rivers. That is why groundwater is a delicate resource that we should use at hard time.
According to scientists, groundwater doesn't exist underground like lakes, but seeps between sandstones and hard rocks.
Pumping water so much will cause dislocation of underground layer. Every much pumping water needs recharging again. If you wait for recharging again just only in raining season, it is something that you are to lose ever your earth and suffer something like earthquake.
In Arakan, where the Arakan-Myanmar war is intensifying, the invading Myanmar forces are killing Arakanese people in various ways.
In addition, Myanmar Army has blocked off all roads and waterways, and no goods are allowed to be transported without permission.
Medicines are blocked, and patients who need medicine and the elderly are suffering. As the transportation of rice is also blocked, the rural people and those fleeing the war are starving.
In this situation, Myanmar is selling the rice produced by the big rice mills in Arakan to Bangladesh, giving a small profit to the rice traders. This sale will also earn foreign currency to buy weapons for the Myanmar army, so the people of Arakan will starve to death and Arakan will be killed with weapons Myanmar buy from Arakanese rice, natural gas, etc.
Tens of thousands of tons of rice have already been sold at $465 a ton. Under Myanmar's rule and occupation, the people of Rakhine have no food, no shelter, and no clothing. There is no other way for the Arakanese people except to fight and drive out the Myanmar rule and occupation from Arakan.
Arakanese people posted short videos and photos on their Facebook page that showed how Arakanese people celebrated the Arakanese religious festival of wagyu in Arakan.Wagyut festival is when Lord Buddha descended from a celestial abode to our planet after he preached to his deceased mother to Ultimate True in the celestial abode for three months. Lord Buddha’s
mother was reborn in a celestial abode before Lord Buddha became the enlightened one as Lord Buddha.
On this day, people across the Arakan celebrated wagyut festival by fastingat monasteries, donating dry rations to monks and nuns, and paying respects to elders. At night, they set off hot air balloons into the sky and illuminated oil lamps at home, temples, and pagodas.
At Arakan Army’s Headquarters, fighters and members held competitions of individual capability, traditional sports, and musical concerts on this full moon day. Allis of Arakan Army - KIA, MNDAA,and TNLA - joined to participate in this event every year.

Even though Years had passed, Arakanese new generation still is mourning and unable to forget this day because between 400 and 500 Arakanese are killed by the Myanmar government led by Ne Win.By the time all the rice from Arakan was forcibly taken and sold to foreign nations by the Myanmar government in 1967, the Arakanese people faced famine. Therefore, over ten thousand Arakanese people took the streets of Sittwe City to protest and demanded to back of all the rice to Arakan. Instead of returning rice to Arakan,Myanmar Army fired into proceeding when they arrived at Mra rice mill, killing between 400 and 500 Arakanese people.
When Myanmar Army fired into the proceeding, some protestors ran and jumped down into Satroekay Creek and swam to another side of the creek, which was nearby the Mra rice mill. But they were also shot and killed from the bank of satroekay creek by Myanmar Army, appearing the water creek blood-red color with Arakanese protestors.
Hence, the new generation of Arakan painfully commemorates every year on this day to remind the past in which Myanmar killed innocent Arakanese old generation intentionally and also observe how to avoid situations like this from invaders Myanmar or Burma.
Under Myanmar's rule, the Arakanese people are systematically massacred every now and then on every situation by Myanmar or Burma since Arakan lost its sovereignty to Myanmar or Burma.
In the entire Arakan, western region of so-called Myanmar, Myanmar Army is nowadays killing and arresting Arakanese people every single day and also making Arakanese people's life difficult and treating Arakanese people in a cruel and oppressive way and not giving them the same rights, freedom. etc. as Burmese or Myanmar.
By the time, the motorboat is transporting students from the school of Remawa village to Tuinmawa village on August 2, 2022 after school time in Paletwa Township, in Arakan,Myanmar soldiers shot at them from the bank of the Kalatan river indiscriminately, therefore, two students are killed on the spot, and three students were also injured. There is a total of ten students on the board.
Meanwhile, there is a battle between the Arakan Army and the Myanmar Army in Namada Creek, Paletwa Township Nira Yassari, on August 2/2022 in Arakan. Villagers said that since the morning of August 2nd, the Arakan Army (AA) and Myanmar Army have been fighting in Namada Creek, Paletwa Township.
Elsewhere, particularly, at the Bangladesh border, there is also fighting between the Arakan Army and Myanmar Army on the same day, therefore, long-range missiles and Artillery shells are being launched from the Paletwa -based battalion to the Bangladesh border as reinforcement of its military power by the Myanmar Army.
Villagers said that shots were also heard on the Namada Creek side yesterday, and the clashes continued from this morning until the evening. Consequently, many residents are starting to flee from their homes to nearby places.
There are three Arakanese men, in Ponnagyun and Kyauktaw Township in Arakan, whom Myanmar Army arrested a week ago. U Moe Thee Khaing, 50, and U Maung Hsan, 40, were taken from their homes by about 20 Myanmar soldiers (invaders to Arakan) on July 19, and their families have not been able to contact the detainees, a relative of U Moe Thee Khaing told one of main Arakan Media DMG.

When the Arakan lost its sovereignty because of Myanmar"s invasion and fell under Myanmar's rule, Arakanese people were to be called ethnic of Myanmar. In fact, the Arakan should only be called a colonized nation and a colonized national.
Myanmar is calling on the Arakan as an ethnic is to continue to rule Arakan systematically and strategically. So far as I know, there are something like ethnics in England and Spain. Those ethics are treated as a complete brotherhood by the English and Spanish governments. But, it is very much different that Arakan is being treated as ethnic by Myanmar.
Every day, Myanmar Army is arresting the Arakanese people and giving heavy prison sentences on the accusation of tieing with the Arakan Army. Some are to die in detention centers and jails due to the atrocious investigation of the Myanmar Army.
"The Myanmar military arrested at least 40 locals across Kyauktaw, Ponnagyun, and Mrauk-U townships. In many cases, family members do not know where the detainees are being held. The military has not given any official statement to the media as to why these locals were arrested " said U Mrat Tun, executive director of the Arakan Human Rights Defenders and Promoters Association.
U Mrat Tun also condemned the military’s refusal to allow the detainees to contact their families after their arrest. He called on the military to allow the detainees to contact their loved ones as soon as possible.
“Among the detainees were underage children and this is a violation of human rights,” he added.
There are almost over hundreds of Arakanese people whom the Myanmar Army has arrested nowadays during the resuming fighting between the Arakan Army and Myanmar Army in the entire Arakan after the informal ceasefire with the Arakan Army.
